Tail of the Lion ...

In nature, there is a word for those who ‘back down’ in the face of aggression … and that word is ‘lunch’. Life is short ... standing up for what we believe is one way we can make ourselves more 'real', more 'authentic' in the world. 'Standing up' isn't always easy, particularly if what we think runs against popular opinion ... but, as the old saying goes 'Better to be the tail of the lion, than the head of a sheep'.
