the irony of the martial arts brochure ….

I scratch my head at a lot of martial arts brochures … adorned with words like Stoicism, Resolute, Character-building, Determination, Grit, Confidence, etc.

Then, when the shite hits the fan - and covid-lockdowns kick in - I don’t see as many of these qualities as I would expect; I do though, see a number of martial arts coaches running around like head-less chickens, crying about how tough life is. WTF?

As always - ‘You are what you do when it counts’.

Actual leaders lead by example.
