When we tremble between alternatives - we experience anxiety

We live in a world of greater choice. Which of the 100 televisions on display should we buy? Which investment should we make? Which movie should we see? Which flavour of ice cream should we buy?

It’s no wonder the many people experience a life replete with anxiety.

When we come to realise that in the grand scheme of things - having to choose one ice-cream over another, or one television over another, or even one path over another, might not be as important or crucial as we might like to think. In the end, it may well be that such choices, don’t matter quite  as much as the action of choosing and the ability to live with the consequences of that choice.

More opportunities to choose (provided we believe that ‘choosing’ is something we can actually do) will reveal themselves soon enough - and often enough. Let go of any angst my friends - keep stepping forward - keep breathing - keep turning either left or right. Then, embrace the consequences of your choices/actions. The game unfolds in the manner it will - enjoy it, revel in it - play with a grin.
